DELEGATE SURVEY:

CC2009: Agenda/Schedule & Strategy/Vision

We need EVERY elected Delegate to respond ASAP to the

following survey evaluating the draft "Agenda/Schedule of Events"
(current version OCTOBER 27) and the CC2009 Strategy statement.

Your timely response is requested in order to minimize
potential issues and conflicts which might affect the orderly
and timely initialization of the CC2009 deliberative process.

IMPORTANT PREAMBLE TO SURVEY:

Dear (ELECTED) Delegates for Continental Congress,

In addition to being overwhelmed by the flood of emails from Basecamp, many have expressed concern over some of the content.  Is there confusion about what is taking place beginning November 11?

We suggest you unsubscribe to message threads rather than opting out of Basecamp totally.  We need to have a way to reach you. Just click on unsubscribe at the bottom of the message.

What is the Purpose, Vision and Agenda for Continental Congress 2009?

The purpose of CC2009 has ALWAYS been to end and reverse the violations of the federal Constitution and restore constitutional governance. It has ALWAYS been to defend, not amend our current federal Constitution
This has been made clear all along, especially through the delegate nomination process.

The proposed strategy (VISION) will result in a set of Instructions to the U.S. Congress and our state legislatures. After all, the states allowed all of these violations to occur.

The Schedule of Events is the basic procedural framework through which the purpose and strategy can be achieved.  Can parts/elements of this Schedule be changed, altered or enhanced?  Yes.   Can the entire event design be discarded?  No.

Unless someone can present an alternative, thoroughly reasoned and well planned means of achieving the stated objectives of the Continental Congress, and can step up immediately to provide such alternative that can readily be executed within the practical financial, time and logistical constraints we have committed to, a (successful) major change of course would be unlikely.

Consider the practical view:

1) Speakers in each area will travel to address you on designated days at certain times.   Their briefs will help to document a formal historical Record for the People of America (and the Delegates) to provide the moral and lawful justification for the recommendations and actions to be taken by the 2009 Congress, the states and the People.

2) People have donated monies to CC2009 based on the specific framework/ proposals that have already been developed and presented.

3) Meeting and eating spaces have been decided and reserved at the hotel.

These commitments impact on many people, including other hotel client organizations who will be there during the Congress proceedings.

4) We have negotiated specific requirements for technical and staging crews for the world stream and the broadcast commentary.

THE DELEGATE SURVEY
Please review the Vision and the proposed Schedule of Events for Continental Congress 2009.

Then vote "yes," "yes, with modifications," or "no" on what has been proposed, along with any brief comments.  This will show us a majority view.

If modifications are desired, write them in the comments box.  We will address them in short order or at our first meeting in St. Charles on the 11th.

If there are a majority of "no's," we would all then need to decide the next steps.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this extremely important matter.

The Continental Congress 2009 National Team
