Articles of Freedom:

NEXT STEPS

MEMORANDUM

FROM:  BOB SCHULZ

DATE:   APRIL 26, 2010

Following the service of the Articles of Freedom on our state and federal elected officials, the appropriate next step for the Free in America is the creation of a Critical Mass of People who are well informed about the content of the Articles of Freedom, well informed about the refusal of their elected officials to comply with the AoF’s Remedial Instructions, and who are willing to participate with millions of their countrymen in a series of civic actions to achieve compliance, culminating in economic sanctions against the Government, if absolutely necessary and as a last resort. Critical mass, we believe, is 3-5% of the population or between 9 and 15 million people.

Organization is now the key.

One approach to organizing for the purpose of educating more than 3-5% of the population about the Articles of Freedom and achieving critical mass is by creating thousands of Articles of Freedom Meet-Up groups across the country.

Here is the link for creating a Meet-up Group: http://www.meetup.com/create .  You will note the requirements, including the limit of 5000 characters for the Group Description.

What follows is a DRAFT of input to create a meet-up group in my home town of Queensbury.

DRAFT APPLICATION FOR MEET-UP GROUP: ARTICLES OF FREEDOM-QUEENSBURY-NY

Group name:

ARTICLES OF FREEDOM-Queensbury-NY

Home page headline:

WELCOME FREEDOM KEEPERS!

Group description:

The Articles of Freedom, the works of citizens elected delegates to the Continental Congress 2009, is a profound plan to peacefully restore Constitutional Order to America, beyond Tea Parties, beyond Elections and beyond Politics.

The Constitution cannot defend itself and it is not a menu. Only we, the People can put an end to violations of the Constitution, each of which has a devastating effect on the Nation, our economy, our Freedom and must be stopped.

The purpose of each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group is threefold: 1) to educate people about each of the 14 articles in the Articles of Freedom; 2) to encourage and monitor compliance by state and federal officials with the Articles of Freedom’s Remedial Instructions; and 3) to join with the members of other Articles of Freedom Meet-Up groups across the country to reach critical mass – that is, 3-5% of the People necessary, to ensure compliance through a series of well-organized, nationwide civic actions.

Under the auspices of the We The People Congress, Inc., a broad coalition of Articles of Freedom Meet-Up groups is forming from coast to coast. Through regular weekly Articles of Freedom meetings, Citizens in the cities and towns of America will be able to, en masse, succeed where politics, elections and ‘Tea Parties” have been unable to.

The underlying cancers of politicization and corruption that ail the Republic are beyond the curative capacity of the entrenched institutions. The People themselves must now act to protect, preserve and enhance their Creator-endowed, Natural, Individual Rights, Freedoms and Liberties. We cannot and should not reply on our electoral process (the promises and assurances of men) for a guarantee of our Rights. We cannot vote our way out of tyranny. We the People must either submit or employ new tools to peacefully resist and defeat the forces of tyranny and despotism.

With the assistance of the We The People Congress, Inc., each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group will coordinate with other Articles of Freedom Meet-up groups to closely monitor and regularly communicate with local federal and state officials, holding them accountable to the Remedial Instructions included in the Articles of Freedom, and to raise public awareness regarding the willingness of officials to honor their Oaths of Office.

With the assistance of the We The People Congress, Inc., the energy of each Articles of Freedom Meet-up group will be channeled in order that we may develop the thrust needed to bring our elected officials back within the boundaries the People have drawn around their power by the terms of our state and federal Constitutions.

The Queensbury Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group will meet each Thursday from 7-8:30PM. Meeting LOCATION will be the Queensbury VFW, 32 LUZERNE RD,  QUEENSBURY,  NY  12804-3318  |  view map  Telephone: (518) 793-7535 Website: www.vfw.org

The Agenda for each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up Group will be: Call to order;  Reading / acceptance of last meeting’s minutes; Old business;  New business; Adjournment. Each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group will have a Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. Each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group will prepare 2” x 3 1/2” cards for members to hand to people in their community announcing the date and location of the next meeting.

The individual members of each Articles of Freedom Meet-Up group will donate $10 per month.  Of the $10 per month, $7 will go to, and support that individual’s monthly membership in the We The People Congress, Inc., and $3 per month will be retained by the Meet-up group. $7 donations to We The People Congress, Inc. will be made at www.wethepeoplecongress.org. $3 donations will be received by the Group's Treasurer and deposited in a local (community, non-national) bank account in the name of the Meet-Up group.

WTP Congress funds will be strictly limited to expenses directly related to facilitating and supporting the activist activities of the Articles of Freedom Meet-Up groups nationwide, and to institutionalizing citizen vigilance nationwide, including the construction of a Citizen Vigilance Center in each state Capital. All members of all Articles of Freedom groups will vote the make-up of a 15 member WTP Congress Advisory Panel.

Use of local funds is strictly limited to reimbursements for expenses directly related to the citizen vigilance activities of the local Articles of Freedom group. NO such funds are permitted for the payment of time or labor of AoF volunteers or group members.  Both deposits and withdrawals require dual signatures of both the Chairman and the Treasurer, with such records copied and held by the Treasurer and Secretary. All withdrawal transactions for reimbursement MUST have an original receipt and signed statement documenting the nature of the expense.  Copies of all transaction records are to be retained by both Treasurer and Secretary until turned over to persons succeeding in those capacities.
